On The Turn

The hares in the hills above the village are slowly turning to their winter coats. These days given the lack of snow in these parts this is more of a hindrance as it makes them more obvious and can be seen from afar. No eagles in Shetland however to hunt them.

As an extra the Ward of Veester trig point which is 257 metre above sea level.
