One Man and His Dog
A beautiful autumn day today, so after catching up on the Formula 1 highlights from last night, I took myself off to Blackford Hill from some sunshine and much needed exercise. The sun is still quite warm, but the wind is really chilly!
I got the bus to Blackford Pond and went up and over the hill, returning home via the Hermitage of Braid and Morningside. A few more photos can be found on my Flickr
I was waiting for this man and dog to move so I could take a photo from the trig point, but in the end I decided just to include them in my blip. I've taken pictures without people in them from here before, so I didn't really need more of the same!
The other week I saw a Dalmatian in the park, and I thought to myself how rare it is you see Dalmatians these days. Well today I saw SIX!! I think that's my quota for the next year or two! I also saw a treecreeper and on the way through Morningside Park, a delicate black and white cat who gave me some nose nudges. Unfortunately that's as far as our friendship went, due to the arrival of a dog!
