Day two

The sun shone.. after a heavy frost overnight.  
The stones were magical and we managed to be there for a good length of time to gather our sketches.  After our play and experimentation of yesterday it was wonderful to be outside with sketchbooks in order to gather our experiences before returning to the hall to paint... and this is one of the paintings that emerged. What a lovely weekend... and now for a busy week ahead!
