The highlight of a very wet day was watching England beat New Zealand in the semi finals in Japan.
Jorgie and I sat captivated by the exciting match.
The dogs were no more interested in going out for a walk in the atrocious conditions than me so I was able to watch all of the match in peace.
When we eventually ventured out we were soaked within minutes.
By late afternoon the rain stopped and the sun briefly shone, giving me an opportunity to take a photo of the raindrops on the ornamental cherry in the garden
