Gingerbread loaf

My cakes always go wrong. This one looked amazing when it came out of the oven. The skewer came out clean and it had the right time. Then it sank and I discovered it has a soggy middle.
Oh well, warmed up with custard for pudding after Sunday lunch, it’ll be just fine. But my baking skills are still lacking finesse. Sigh.
