We have enjoyed a wonderful warm day, a day when we loved being outdoors.  Took to the bikes this morning, this afternoon pottering outside.
The phone rang at 8am this morning, it was Barb (Walking Wombat) giving her commiseration to us on the All Black defeat last night.  Wasn't that nice. 
We had a lengthy conversation about many things, some laughter, some serious stuff (take a look, such beautiful words), some planning. 
With regards to the All Black loss last night, I don't have a problem with it, as we were beaten by a much better team.  Well done England, you certainly deserve your final spot.  
Our retiring coach Steve Hansen said "We just got beaten by a better team and we have to take that on the chin. As hard as it is to stomach that is what happens in sport sometimes."  
The sun will rise in the morning & it did :)
