Lovely Lancashire

Lovely day of wandering around Blackpool. Visited the charity shops.

Big plate of chips with mushy peas, gravy and a barmcake at lunch (with lashings of vinegar).

Had my fortune told and it was really positive as palm reading experiences go. Went for a walk along the North Pier which was finally open (after a few visits of seeing it closed after bad weather/ repair work). I usually have a drink in the bar at the end but it was quite busy so we went to Ma Kelly’s Showboat in Bispham and rested in the SportsBar at the back where they were giving away free hot dogs.

This evening we went to Sainsbury’s for our evening meal and ate pasta and quiche whilst watching the wonderful illuminations from the room. It’s near the end of the season in Blackpool and things really slow straight after the Strictly Come Dancing weekend which is coming up soon.
