Peveril Castle

We went back to the Hope Valley today, and paid a visit to Peveril Castle.  Bit rainy, but it cleared up by the time we left, and the sun broke through as we headed back down the (steep!) hill.

Drove on to the Snake Pass next, for more beautiful views - drove to the other end of it (towards Manchester), then turned round and drove it back again.

Had a lovely little walk along the river back in Bakewell, just as the light was fading, then cooked dinner in our holiday cottage and had a nice evening in.
