Backwater Reservoir, Anhus

Lovely sunny but chilly autumn day so ideal for a drive back to some of our old favourite haunts.  

First stop was the Cats Protection Sale at Scone where we stocked up on chutney and cakes!  Then it was on to the Loch of Lintrathen where some cloud cover spoiled the best light for photos.  Never mind as it was a great excuse for lunch at the Wee Bear Café, which was as good as ever.

We drove up to Backwater Reservoir just as the sin came out, swiftly followed by a few spots of rain!    The plan was to visit Reekie Linn on the way back until I discovered I'd left my walking boots at home, so that will have to be for another day.

A quick shop in our old supermarket and then home again in a complete circle from where we had started.  A lovely day out!
