Wet Duplo Day.

It rained for most of yesterday, it rained all night, and it rained for most of today. Actually decided NOT to walk the dogs - We've only done this once before when we were down in Cornwall earlier in the year. If we'd been at home with our large utility room, and our chalky, easy draining soil we'd have been happy to, but here in Manchester where the soil is clay - red clay, and where the water just sits and doesn't drain away, I couldn't face it. They have had a good groom, which is like a 'spa' day for them to make up for the lack of exercise. 

Spent the morning building a 'Duplo' farm with Emmeline. She has a very vivid imagination and that makes for easy imaginative play. Popped into the supermarket this afternoon and the roads were well flooded.
