Winchester Castle

I had a meeting in Winchester this morning so, on the way back to my car, I grabbed a quick shot of the castle, a medieval building founded in 1067. Only the Great Hall still stands and one day I must have a look inside at the Arthurian round table.

While in the meeting a news alert appeared on my phone with the rugby score (well done, England!), which I shared with my colleagues. It certainly cheered up the other Southampton supporting one, who was at last night’s match. The less said about that the better.
