Guava Dessert

We have had an abundant guava crop this year. Last night after work I made this special dessert, guavas in syrup, just the way we used to eat it back at home in Colombia. It turned out pretty good. I served it with fresh Mozzarella.

I am deeply disturbed by the suffering the fires are causing in Northern and Southern California. We can only hope it will not get worse.
