Hatchling Tracks

Spent several hours this afternoon at the Georgia Sea Turtle Center on Jekyll Island learning all about Sea Turtles. Then, after an early dinner at a local restaurant, we went for a walk on the beach.

Lilli found multiple empty Sea Turtle nests above the tide line complete with hatchling tracks leading to the high tide mark! Lucky hatchlings, they hatched at high tide and didn’t have more than a few yards to traverse to the water!

All around beautiful day, enjoying each other’s company and beautiful Jekyll Island.
