A Visit to Howarth

We went over to Howarth in Yorkshire today.

This quaint old place is full of history and interest, and is where the Author, Charlotte Bronte and her family lived and died.

This is the Rose and Co. Apothecary where old enamelled signs advertise products of a bygone age and bowed glass counters house an extensive collection of antique chemist bottles evoking a feeling of entering a Victorian druggist's dispensary.
