Lichen by the sea

A morning out with the U3A photography group at a particularly windswept area of the coast.  It was supposed to be about wildlife, but without a long lens (in my dreams: the price of them!) I had to find other things to take photographs of.  I quite liked this lichen.

The rest of the weekend will be at a local retreat centre: using photography in mindfulness and meditation.  That should be interesting.
