A South African birthday

Cards and presents even.

La Brie Wine Farm: wine matchings with chocolates, biltong and Turkish delight.
La Bourgogne wine farm: burgers and wraps with a selection of wines.
La Coronne: the best wine of the day - a Shiraz not yet available for sale…
Franscheuk Cellar: wines paired with cheese, the best pairing we came across.
Memory becoming poorer, taste buds frazzled. Much laughter and new best friends wherever we ventured. Our tram driver spoke words of wisdom at every stop and implored us to drink water as we progressed. We had an hour in each Wine Farm which almost wasn't enough time to do justice to these delicious wines. Especially when we tried to fit in lunch and wine tasting. We coped admirably -we thought.
Josh Braai for dinner - Boerewors sausages cooked to perfection over an open fire.
Happy to be writing this down now as it will be hard to remember much of it later...
