Sunrise at Emley

As I said yesterday, I was up at Emley Moor in Yorkshire today for a series of meetings. There were numerous potential blips on the way but I couldn't afford to stop because I knew the traffic around Sheffield was going to delay me, so, I pushed on.

From a distance I could see that there was mist on the top of the hill, but, when I arrived, it was very dull and dank. Disappointment waved over me until I arrived at the gate into the compound. As I pulled up, the fog magically thinned and left this lovely view through the trees. I rattled off a few shots (including this one of the tower itself and then scuttled off to the meetings.
