Judy.

We did a bit of tree surgery on our blossom tree this morning and got it all shredded and tidied up before a late lunch.

This early evening we went to the Macrobert Arts Theatre at the University of Stirling to see “Judy,” a biopic of the last year of Judy Garland’s life, and actually so much more. We sat in our usual reserved seats at the end of the back row, arriving just as the trailers and adverts finished - we’d been caught in rush hour traffic etc. It was worth the rush - a lovely film, a simple tale and not too many folks involved, so easy to follow. We enjoyed it. The audience were considerate as usual, and there were a few hankies dabbing eyes at the end.

Three young deer crossed the road in front of the car as we drove through the campus.

We were late home as we did a few things on the way back.
