We are away on a three day trip with some friends, down in the south west, and staying at Stranraer.  So you will notice this is backdated.

Had a lovely walk on the way to our hotel, and as we walked along the river I took this view.  The weather has been lovely, dry and with some sunshine.  Let's hope it stays this way.

The hotel is lovely, very high standard, and I think we will have a very enjoyable stay.  They have a curling rink, and so far as we have seen so far it is busy all the time.  They also have a swimming pool!
