More than I could chew

This is a Pinkgill (Entoloma) I collected yesterday to try and do the full microscopy. No easy matter. After several hours I still had’t got all the information I needed, but used what I did have to pin it down to the most likely species.
A miserable day weatherwise, not helped by being given the runaround by a certain well-known high street store.
