Sky Watching
Well actually only for a few minutes as it was FREEZING out there
I managed to get the old superzoom to take a decentish photo of Orion through the light polution and in spite of a passing car's headlights!
Obviously the solution was to zoom out a lot to escape the street lights at the bottom and increase the exposure. Funnily enough all I got was streaks where the stars should be - in spite of the tripod not moving. Clearly that wasn't actually true but it seemed to be OK
Dunno - but this was the best I could manage to commemorate Prof. Brian cox and Dara thingy's great programme
best quote
What was there before the big bang?
Brian Cox's reply - Either there was something OR the wasn't
Well thank God we had a professor there to explain that one!!!
