Loch Sunart
On our way home, and we stopped again at the Garbh Eilean hide on Loch Sunart.
Apart from this glimpse of the sun, we were rewarded by a seal's antics. It repeatedly climbed out of the water, jumped back in, and splashed about (see extra). I think perhaps it was being threatened by another seal, and showing its unhappiness with a bit of displacement activity.
We travelled back to Perth via the Corran Ferry and Glen Coe. We stopped at the visitor centre there for lunch. It is well built and nicely situated, but it was heaving with people. As was every lay-by up Glen Coe. It didn't feel like Scotland at all, especially after the peacefulness of Ardnamurchan.
We found a gate out of the visitor centre compound, and walked a short way up the hill to have a view to ourselves (see extra). We got yet another soaking, and I didn't really dry out until I got home.
