The Elf

We do have a new companion in the house. I named it as an Elf.

It is a robot. Vacuum cleaner robot. It has it's cave (battery charger unit) under the living room chest of drawers and from there it comes once a day and vaccuums our house. Or should do it.

It has been learning our apartment today. To be honest, the Elf goes round and round here and there and the order seems quite lunatic to me. This far the robot only "understands" that here is a living room, an entrance hall and a half ot the kitchen. Nothing more. It hasn't found rest of the kitchen or half of the apartment yet at all: It doesn't have a glue of any of the bedrooms! It is learning all the time though: Yesterday as the Elf did it's first visit here, it got lost (and did not find back to it's battery charger at all). Today it seeked and seeked - and finally found the charger unit itself. So the situation is progressing. I assume...

Strangely lot there has been dust, anyway, in it's bin, after vacuuming. The Elf is quiet, efficient and the bin is easy to empty.

Maybe the Elf sometimes will find also the rest of the rooms eventually. We'll see.... I'll tell you if the situation gets better.
