Colorful Carvings on the Castle...w/Closeup

This guy and his son next door are known for their colorful flower displays, but this year it looks like they have joined the Halloween parade. Splashes of orange everywhere.

From across the street, I was impressed with their carving abilities. That is...until I brought up the pictures on my computer. The giant gourds had power cords coming out of their butts, so they must be fake. Still, we'll have to return at night to see how they light up the tower.

They were especially nice against the pretty blue sky. The sky lasted a few hours, then disappeared.
