Lily the pink...
Twirling to show off her new dress :-))
Financial planning meeting this morning to check that our pensions will keep us in gin and golf balls. So far, so good.
Interesting conversation with our solicitor re. Brexit who said her grandmother voted to leave, despite her begging her not to. Said grandmother has since passed away, so not having to to live with the consequences of her vote. I imagine that is quite a common scenario.
I was looking forward to seeing Christine this morning as it's the first time she would have been here since we stayed at her lovely holiday home in Stornoway, but she's been called for Jury Duty so that chat has been postponed.
Alan's pal Andrew is back with us tomorrow. They are swimming at 1pm. I have ordered them both an enormous pumpkin each to carve (with help!) That should keep them out of mischief for a while and I will cook the pumpkin flesh, mash it and freeze it in portions as it is excellent for upset dog tummy's. Always good to have some in stock should Lola need it.
David was enjoying an Empire biscuit with his coffee this evening and I could not stop laughing at Lola doing everything she could to get his attention to let him know she fancied a bit (see extra)
We never give her sweet treats like this but it doesn't stop her trying! :-)))
