Spring in Alberta

Taken through the front window of the house, this illustrates a very long winter not at all wanting to let go. Snow. Wind. Cold. Sheesh!!! Winter certainly has come in like a lion; we trust it will leave like a lamb. Well, I guess we just trust that it will leave .....

A road trip to BC this week in search of some warmer temperatures and some ground that is not completely covered in white. The week promises sun with more warmth.

I did increase the contrast in this shot -- not sure if I should have. With all the snow, there was nothing anywhere close to 'black' on the picture -- just varied shades of white! I may have brought the black up too much ... but it does give it an abstract look and feel.
