Heron

Busy day.  Morning hound walk, cycled to my long-time-fave-hippy-wholefood shop, cycled back to market, Sainsbury's and saw this gorgeous heron as I was crossing the bridge towards home.  Picture a bit fuzzy, phone doesn't do zooming in well. The cormorant was also perched to the left on the edge of a small boat.
Home for quick lunch then fired up the 'puter to look over my email of comments against the building proposal.  Left it in draft form to look over later and headed off on bike to petition neighbourhood. Currently have 1300 signatures.
Dinner, then asked other half to look over my email before sending. Now chilling watching something on catch-up.
