Loch Lomond
We caught the bus to Luss today where we had arranged to have a historical tour of the village. As we were early we headed for the Smoke House where we envisaged the shop would have lots of interesting fish for sale. Unfortunately it was closed. A quick wander around and then the tour started. It was just the two of us so a great personal tour, the weather was fairly good ie not raining with a few glimpses of sun occasionally. The history is fascinating and the village has been well preserved. A pity that some of the buildings including the church were closed.
After lunch l headed up a nearby hill to take this photo of the waters of Loch Lomond for Wide Angle Wednesday.
It was then the bus back to Balloch and a quick walk along the shoreline and upto the Castle. Lots of walking done today. My sister caught an earlier bus back from Luss to continue her graveyard visits researching her husbands past relatives. It’s all done now so a successful day.
