Hats off
It hit 4 degrees on my way to school in Pontesbury this morning. With the prospect of Campfire Cooking later in the day I whizzed up to town to grab a cheapo hat. By the time lunchtime arrived it was reasonably warm and I was totally overdressed. Such is the way with Autumn weather.
Today was the fish session at school and we had a great time gutting fish and cooking them on a fire. We’ve got a couple of weeks left and then we’re stopping Campfire Cooking until Spring.
In a bid to keep the camping season going a little longer, I waterproofed the tent after work. I am determined not to be a fair weather camper.
One day I will embrace winter.
