Closing time

Several time’s a week, near closing time, this guy, who I think manages the Oxfam Bookshop, loads boxes of books into a rented van, or car.
I presume that they are surplus, or books they might want to sell online or whatever.
Years ago I donated loads of book, mainly Sci Fi, and over a hundred football programmes to the shop.
I never saw them on the shelves. Not that I was in their regularly checking.
