A blip of bright water

Because of seeing OG (and, let's face it, because it was cold and grey) I didn't get down to the sea today for BobsBlips' WideWed challenge.  The subject was 'sea/water', so here is a section at the cathedral's Water Gate.  I loved the scramble of lily leaves and the vibrant scattering of other leaves decorating the surface.

I have had a long afternoon with OG, who is lonely, scared and rather depressed.  When will we, as a country, get our social care act together?
