Twenty Seven Years Together
We're looking forward to T coming home later tonight after her trip to Chicago. She had a great hotel room with a lovely view of the lake.
It's our 27th Anniversary today, we actually met 30 years ago this month. How time flies through three decades of wonder. We are very lucky and very, very thankful. T & I will celebrate our 27th year of meeting today and celebrate again on our 2013 wedding day, New Year's Eve.
Merry has been watching a big Tom Turkey through the glass storm door. Strangely, there haven't been any turkeys in the yard recently. They usually return as it gets colder. It's actually beginning to look like November with all the leaves falling after the storm last week and more rain all through the night. Soon the trees will be bare and the threat of snow will be in the air. I love all of the seasons, but I will miss golden light of autumn in New England. There is though, a symmetrical beauty to the bare trees flanked by our beautiful pine and cedar trees. I look forward to those limbs being dressed in white as well. There is always something to appreciate and photograph each season here.
For the Record,
This day came in warmer, but started cloudy after a night of rain. the sun is breaking through now and the golden light is lovely.
All hands grateful for our 30 years together and our good fortune in finding Merry after Raspberry's passing left us heartbroken in June.
