Penarth pier

Thanks all for your lovely comments on yesterday's blip. I had to shoot off to South Wales to see my son, who had fallen badly and broken his femur and generally knocked himself about. Successful op to put in rod and screws, and as he is young and fit a full recovery is expected. Seeing your comments as the day unfolded cheered me up no end.
Mrs Blippingvicar & I had a wander on the pier at Penarth while we were waiting for visiting time at the Royal Glamorgan Hospital- the sun was shining and the sky was blue! I had to capture something of the shadows being cast, and the square format let me crop out a litter bin without losing too much else!
