Inverness

I took a quick day trip to Inverness today to visit the Aunty before celebrating her 100th next week. She is in fine form with her usual array of reading material surrounding her and flowing out over her lap.

Geese were a-plenty flying south?/south-west?. I never remember where they're going or coming to or from but I do love to see them around. Autumn colours swathed the hills and as I passed along viewing the Cairngorms I could see a light dusting of snow on their peaks, skiers delight.
