Bad Wimpfen
I had seen a picture of Bad Wimpfen, and as it was near the way we had decided to go to the ferry we decided to look around for a couple of hours. It is on the Neckar to the south and east of Heidelberg and is built on a rocky hill to the west of the river. It is an old town, full of half-timbered houses of many quirky shapes and sizes. The blip is the view along the Hauptstraβe from just above the tourist information where we picked up a walking guide to the town that took us to the interesting old buildings. The extra is a collection of the doors around the town surrounding the trees lit up in the early morning sun at the campsite.
Yesterday’s blip.
