Climber

It was the 'C' shape curve of the vine that caught my attention here and how it played off the two straight trunks. Late afternoon sunlight catching the sides of the trees was a bonus and created dimension to the scene by adding light into the shadows that would otherwise be quite dark.

I think I shot it from too low down and looking up because I found I wanted to tilt the tree tops forward in LR which I did using the transpose tool. Also, for some strange reason I found rotation necessary even though the camera was level.

I decided to try an orton effect in PS and, although subtle, it does add a slight glow to the vine enhancing the sunlight on it. I'm not sure it was worth the effort though.
