70s monstrosity

1970s office architecture is not to my taste. Back in the film office again today in one of the Kent County Council buildings.

A hexagonal shaped building with a central atrium and open plan office floors and corridors that all look the same. You’d be forgiven for thinking it could seem depressing were it not for the large glass windows that allow plenty of light and views of the tree tops and sky.

So this is my office home a few days each week until Christmas - maybe January - in between working on film locations. The best thing about the office is the few minutes’ walk to the shops. A bit too close to Primark and Superdrug to potentially lead to frivolous lunchtime spending. Whoops.
