Life in the Larches
First I noticed dunnocks in the trees, then I noticed these ones. They were making quite different noises. I was in the garden with Lucky and Muttley who were barking passionately at anything moving, the birds in the treetops included. Nevertheless I managed a few distant shots. I'm afraid I can't identify them. There were about two dozen feeding exclusively in the larches.
Otherwise we have a fresh layer of snow on a few highly polished surfaces. I chose to slip over when I was carrying the ashes out. No bones broken. At least I wasn't carrying the camera.
I have had to give up on Magic Lantern until I can get a card reader which is rather disappointing.
