To bin or not to bin!

I am a serial declutterer so when a cupboard needed clearing out in our local village hall I was invited to oversee proceedings. Quite apart from the 7 half- started jars of coffee most of them rock hard, 500+ mouldy tea bags and other rubbish bits and pieces, we came across a very ancient First Aid box which contained this tin of plasters. From the price tag alone it must be pre 1971 which is when we went decimal.
Tonight I have to explain to a large group exactly what we I've done and I will use the tin as a visual aid to assure them that nothing of any importance, significance or value has been thrown out.
I simply know that at least one of them will say 'Don't throw it away, it might be worth something!' and of course my reply will be 'Rubbish!!'
