Peaceful, Easy Feeling

It was a beautiful morning, cool, but promising to warm up and be the sort of October day we always wish for.

And indeed it was so. But you can tell winter is coming now. It was already cooling down again by the time I got home from Emerald. And the quilt is back on the bed, too. A sure sign.

It has been a fabulous autumn.

And I don't think it's quite over yet.
