Laundry in Afurado

It was a gorgeous day in the Afurado neighborhood of Porto, Portugal today. We took the water taxi from Porto across to this colorful and immaculate neighborhood for lunch today. We had an extraordinary meal of local grilled fish after wandering around for a bit. Many of the local women use a central public washing facility and then hang their laundry out on lines in a lot next to the Douro River. Looking closely you’ll see sailboats on the left side.
