Artist at Work

I spent a lot of this morning writing and sending our monthly update...also trying (& failing) to create a shared calendar for our community to put down retreat dates. I’m not a fan of technology today! It helped that I was doing all this stuff in Nude Café...especially as Chris plonked a ginger and turmeric shot down beside me to give me a boost.
Claire met me afterwards - she’d asked if she could hang out with us for the day as her building was being evacuated to clear out a wasps nests in the ventilation unit. We collected Nate, did the shopping, and got lunch ready for Asha and her friend Cami. Cami was with us til 8. We spent the afternoon creating...experimenting with ways of putting paint on the canvas and moving it. In the blip we dropped paint and Asha was moving it around by blowing it through a straw - brilliant fun! Claire, Asha, Cami & I all thoroughly enjoyed it - Nate conveniently napped!
Stephen came back with Danny after prison and stayed for tea - the 2 of them put the kids to bed which I was glad of!!

Today I’m grateful for;
1) Getting the update done.
2) Claire being with us and the fun she brings.
3) Rain!
