Horses after courses

My colleague Michelle arrived in Mozambique. We’ve got a field trip starting tomorrow so we did some preparations and agreed that we’re generally ‘up for it.’

I took her for a bite down the hill in the glamorous surroundings of a shopping centre food court. Our food was delayed so the waiter brought over an appetiser of some sort of Middle Eastern dip with some sort of Middle Eastern bread. We stuffed ourselves with the main course of flatbread, chips, falafel, salad and houmous. We finished with some ice cream and hauled our heaving bodies back up the hill.

This huge horse artwork flanks the exit of the shopping centre. I’ve never seen a horse in Mozambique so I’m not quite getting the link.
