Valetta

What a beautiful place.
The day did not begin well as we had decided to go to the Sunday market. It took us ages to find, Nelly was quite overheated and it was a massive disappointment- tawdry and rubbish.
Luckily Valetta is lovely- we wandered around, went to the Malta Experience and had the most amazing ice cream that is served shaped like flower petals. This is some kind of parade that was going on, there was also a brass band.
We had dinner at the wee place next to the hotel.
