Castle Tioram
The forecast promised a break in the rain, and we managed two locations without getting soaked. The first was iconic Castle Tioram on Loch Moidart. Sadly the ruin is unsafe to enter.
We went a short way along the Silver Walk, but with water running down the precipitous path we decided not to push our luck. This blip is taken from the start of the raised path.
Then we drove to the other end of the Silver Walk at Ardmolich Wood. The walk to the viewpoint of Meall an Aoil and back proved to be the best of the week. My extra is taken inside the wood. I don't think I have ever seen a thicker covering of moss in a wood.
