Amazing who you meet at the shops!

My mum and I went to see "Downton Abbey" at the Uckfield Picture House. The cinema originally opened in 1916 as a theatre for local troops training for WW1 and started showing films in 1920. It has been run by the same family since 1964. I love going there.

I had a lovely time this morning touring Uckfields amazing charity shops, and bought quite a few Christmas presents, which I have wrapped and shall leave here for the family as I probably shan't see them again until 2020.

This evening I cooked dinner for us - the recipe from the  advert which has recently been unpopular with farmers. My (meat eating) parents loved it.
