Steps from Hestercombe
It was rather grey when I picked Suejay50 up to go to Hestercombe today. However by the time we got there it had started to brighten up, but there were only rare moments when the sun appeared.
Hestercombe is a facinating place to visit with a history that dates back to 1280. The garden designs have the names of Sir Edwin Lutyens, and Gertrude Jekyll attached and it shows. A most enjoyable day. My first visit to the House and Garden, but will not be my last.
Thank you to Chantler63 for hosting this week.
