Re-flowering
... but only on one side!
This beautiful bougainvillaea grafted plant which was given to me for my 50th birthday has had its ups and downs. It started off really well, but for some reason, this year its really struggled.
In September, I got some special pellets which were supposed to bring out flowers, but it made the plant on my balcony shed all it's leaves, looking like it had given up the ghost, and this pot experienced wild growth. Beautiful, vibrant green leaves, but absolutely no flowers - until a few days ago. They're all appearing on the sunny side though, so after I took these pictures, I turned the pot around, to even things out! :)
We've had a much needed "at home" day. I had an online meeting with the new intern and G had plenty to do in her room. I thought we'd go out later in the evening, but there was still more stuff to do.
These flowers happily blooming came in handy for a blip. I had forgotten that this plant had four colours on it, so it feels brand new to me. Tomorrow, to head to Oman for a few days, so a little packing has been done too.
