Mono Monday 300

What a fabulous achievement- Mono Monday at 300!
Today I went to Hestercombe with Terrifo - originally four of us were going but the other two had to cry off for health reasons sadly. We wanted to view the IGPOTY Exhibition which was on show in the Gardens.  The huge pictures were amazing and wonderful to see. Inspirational  - or making one want to throw one's camera away fearing one could never produce any such delights!  
We enjoyed a wander around the gardens which did not have much colour but agree we'd love to come back in the spring / summer. It was a grey day but thankfully it stayed dry until a few spots fell as we headed back to the car. 
Today's lines challenge - well I loved the lines of these old garden steps taking us up from the sunken garden up onto the next level.  The twisted hazel was giving a great display as well.
