Down at ‘the Lane’

A special day as we took Mum & Dad to the new Spurs stadium :-)

My Dad met up with 2 friends that he used to play football with over 60 years ago, who were also the friends that he watched Spurs play whilst standing on the terraces :)

For 2 of them it was their 1st visit and even though they’re both suffering with dementia they couldn’t get over how much the ground had changed & had a thoroughly good day even if they won’t remember it for long :(

Shame Spurs didn’t play at their best & I hate the new VAR ruling which means you can’t celebrate a goal until it’s been ‘checked’!!
